2019 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival 臺中國際花毯節

The Flower Carpet Festival this year features - Le petit prince is a French literary work that earns acclaim from extensive readers for its profound connotations. Based on the plot of The Little Prince, the festival is titled “Love and Hope: The Little Prince’s Planet Trip”. The festival highlights a giant rose and flower installations made up of local flowers in Taichung.With local flowers as color pens, the largest rose and floral installation arts on the earth’s surface are made. By linking installation arts with the story, classic scenes in the novel are created for the Little Prince to take citizens shuffling across planets to recover faith and be inspired by love and hope, and to communicate to the public the natural, livable, and friendly city image of Taichung.

法國文學經典名著「小王子」，其富含寓意的文字獲得廣泛讀者的青睞；今年花毯節以「小王子」故事為主軸，「『愛與希望』─小王子的星球之旅」為題，以臺中在地花卉為色筆，打造空中俯瞰地表最大的巨型玫瑰及花卉裝置，藉由故事串連作品，重現故事經典場景，由小王子帶領民眾在各星球穿梭，找回初心，獲得愛與希望的啟示，也將臺中自然、宜居、友善的城市意象傳遞給參觀民眾。
